Welcome to ILIOS

ILIOS was founded in late 2022 and thanks to the ambitious vision of its founders, Energy Capital SA and OIKOS Srl, and also thanks to the push of the National and European Energy Transition, it immediately established itself as one of the reference companies in the renewable energy sector by promoting its development projects as well as providing a wide range of engineering services for companies and partners active in the national market.

Energy Capital SA was established in Luxembourg by Amr Ginena’s family office to act as a holding structure for investments into Europe.

For what concerns the energy sector EC has already fully acquired CTIP, an Italian EPC contractor established in 1934 with vast experience on 5 continents. It has also created, along with other partners, CTIP Blu, which has developed, built and commissioned one of the largest bio methane plants in Italy in the region of Abruzzo, converting 45,000 tons of FORSU (humid waste) into renewable green methane every year.

It has also, along with Maya Engineering, created Ilios for the purposes of developing solar, wind and storage projects in Italy and across Europe, as well as Panmed Energy, which is building a portfolio of various green hydrogen projects under development in North Africa, the Arabian gulf and Europe.

OIKOS Srl was established in 2021 by its Director and co-founder Vito Caliò to act as a holding structure for investments into Europe. OIKOS is also shareholder of Maya Engineering Srl being the engineering company of the group and established in 2019.

Since then, Maya Engineering has provided a wide range of engineering services in the energy and energy efficiency sector, also participating the development of more than 1 GW of solar PV, agri-PV and BESS systems, some of which has successfully achieved the positive Environmental Impact Assessment.

On August 2023, OIKOS has transferred Maya Engineering’s main business unit to ILIOS which is now a unique and whole development & engineering platform focusing on Renewable Energy Systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Green Hydrogen, Energy Efficiency, and counting.

Our team has participated and successfully completed various projects reaching a remarkable and in-depth know-how concerning the development, permitting, engineering, procurement and the construction of solar and wind projects, most specifically in Italy.
